Leadership and coaching- by default, is a profession of asymmetrical returns. You could do and say everything “perfectly” and still not get the results you want.
Why? Because the context changes. Put more simply- the world and what it perceives as value is always changing.
The benefits of the things you say or do now may not manifest in positive results for days or decades.
So what do you do?
Persist. If you got into a leadership role for reasons related to immediate gratification you weren’t being realistic to begin with.
Embrace the grey.
